When you spend so many years perfecting your craft and building a fanbase in one style...how the heck can you successfully shift into a completely different genre? This was what my student Justin Mattock had been battling with when we first met. I had the pleasure of sitting down with Justin to share his story and to show what's possible in a short amount of time when you have a structured system.

Understanding how to market your music online in 2022 starts with knowing what the entire system looks like start to finish. Marketing your music isn't hard yet most music creators will fail because they overcomplicate things by insisting that they "figure it out themselves". Most people understand the most common, basic steps and strategies, but unless you know how the pieces of the puzzle fit together and which ones might be missing in your puzzle right now...unfortunately you'll continue to struggle, stay frustrated, and eventually give up. Making music for film, movie trailers, and video games is something that seems impossible when first getting started as a producer and composer, but that didn't slow down my student Jon Mohr.
